It has been very cold in the past few days, and the water in the barrel that collects the rain in our small garden froze over. When we broke the disc of ice and turned it over, we discovered that the most amazing ice formations had begun to grow on the underside.
Not sure if this photo does justice to the intricate patterns and slivers, but with the phone camera set to HDR, the image should be a bit sharper.
